Episode 3: Episode 3

Summary

As the council decides to expand its Mandarin programme, Princess is angry with George for assuming she will continue to cover for his poor grasp of the language. So as the school launches its Apprentice-style contest, pitching the boys against the girls to come up with a winning business idea, she spots an opportunity to get revenge on her hubby by helping the lads - but it leads to potentially serious consequences when she gets closer than expected to one of the pupils. Meanwhile, Audrey is delighted to have found a new friend on the internet, and Christine wonders if she has misjudged Simon

Review

“The key to success is to work as a team,” ambitious deputy head Simon Lowsley says cheerily at the launch of the school’s Apprentice challenge. If only he knew that manipulative head teacher Christine, envious of his popularity with her usually despondent students, was plotting against him, Mr Lowsley might not be so upbeat.

With malicious money-grabber Barry intent on sabotaging the girls’ baking efforts and the boys’ recycling enterprise leading them to Mr Windsor’s medicine cabinet, the day doesn’t exactly run smoothly.

Back at school, things continue to unravel for Mr Windsor when the council picks him to create a Mandarin programme for the local area, unaware that his Chinese wife has secretly been taking his classes.
