Summary
Christine settles in as head of Waterloo Road but quickly finds new deputy Simon is after her job. As well as unruly students and her drink problem, old friend George is not all he seems.

Summary
Audrey is disappointed in the twins for trying to swindle her, and calls in their estranged grandfather - a retired sergeant major - to straighten them out. However, while Lenny soon bonds with his elderly relative, Lisa is less than happy at the idea of having him back in their lives, prompting her to make off with the old man's precious war medals. George turns to the bottle following Princess's departure, and his problems only get worse when Christine realises that without his wife, his grasp of Mandarin is virtually non-existent. Connor discovers a new-found talent after accidentally stumbling into a cookery class and realises this is the career for him - but his mother isn't happy

“I’m scared to go out of my office these days because I dread to think what I might find around the corner,” says weary head teacher Christine as she contemplates downing a vodka bottle after a particularly gruelling day. With the linoleum corridors of Waterloo Road seething with disaster, you can’t blame her.
Troubled Lisa Brown seems hell-bent on continuing her torment of history teacher Miss McFall until, that is, Brown’s estranged war hero grandfather arrives to administer some military discipline.
Meanwhile, the endearingly uptight Miss Spark comes clean about her illicit deal with classroom villain Barry, jeopardising both of their futures at the school.
