Summary
Christine settles in as head of Waterloo Road but quickly finds new deputy Simon is after her job. As well as unruly students and her drink problem, old friend George is not all he seems.

Summary
The classroom drama returns for a fresh term after a nine-week break. New girl Gabriella enrols, having already been thrown out of several other schools for disruptive behaviour, and causes no end of mayhem among staff and pupils alike. She is sassy and smart, and it doesn't take long for her to make an impression, especially when she sets her sights on handsome new PE teacher Hector. Simon launches his education resilience scheme, designed to prepare pupils for life in the real world - but as usual, he ends up arguing with Christine - and Nikki is enjoying a new relationship, unaware she has also caught the eye of someone else

It’s the first day of term and there are two additions to the dysfunctional Waterloo Road family. New girl Gabriella is a high-flyer. “I see you’ve achieved your Gold Duke of Edinburgh,” coos headteacher Christine – before discovering that her angel-faced prodigy has just been expelled from her private school for undisclosed “behavioural issues”.
Rugged action man Hector Reid may have been hired to teach PE, but much of his first day is spent fielding advances from the school’s lovestruck females. One person whose head isn’t turned, however, is no-nonsense head of English Nikki Boston, who is cruelly outed to her troublesome students by an over-enthusiastic new girlfriend. Another term of chaos beckons.
