Summary
Tom's relationship with Josh is plunged into crisis when he finds drugs in the boy's pocket - so the last thing he needs is advice on handling his son from one of the candidates for the Head of English job. Grantly is puzzled when he mislays a large sum of money intended for Fleur's nursing home fees and Matt's daughter's life hangs in the balance. Heather Peace (London's Burning) joins the cast of the classroom drama, with Jason Done, William Rush and Philip Martin Brown
Review
Two potential new English teachers arrive in school for a teach-off (they’re chalk and cheese in temperament and teaching styles but head Michael still can’t choose between them). Vanessa (Amelia Curtis) is the soft, touchy-feely kind, with a passion for books, while Nicki (Heather Peace) is ex-Army and a real tough nut, who thinks a march round the playground is the answer to discipline problems.
While these two battle it out, Grantly manages to lose a stack of cash as well as his new best friend; Josh gets wasted and finds a potential new boyfriend; while Finn and Trudi, recently elected head boy and girl, get into trouble.
