Summary
A gang war breaks out at Waterloo Road, threatening to derail Michael's efforts to turn the school around, and Josh struggles with an escalating drug problem which is masking a more serious illness.
A gang war breaks out at Waterloo Road, threatening to derail Michael's efforts to turn the school around, and Josh struggles with an escalating drug problem which is masking a more serious illness.
Only Waterloo Road could organise a fun run that’s anything but fun and doesn’t involve that much running, either (except by Jez and sprint champion Mercedes, that is). The PE instructor is grooming her for sport stardom but she, of course, misunderstands his attentions — it’s a situation you can see coming a mile away, but he stupidly walks straight into it. Frankly, the man needs glasses because he also doesn’t notice that wife Sian is not as enthusiastic as he is about starting a family.
Meanwhile, Grantly is being understandably emotional following his recent bereavement, Josh can’t accept his schizophrenia diagnosis, Finn is staggered that he’s been dumped by Trudi, and Janeece is struggling with her new boyfriend — the man’s a veritable octopus, although at least a romantic one.
