Summary
Former Emmerdale actress Roxanne Pallett (Jo Sugden) joins the cast as alcoholic pupil Shelby, who struggles to concentrate during an exam after spilling her secret stash of vodka. To commiserate, she takes Madi to the pub - leading to embarrassment later when her father, a local education officer, visits the school and sees his daughter drunk. Janeece takes drastic measures to dig herself out of a financial hole, Finn falls further under the Murray gang's influence and Michael receives an interesting offer from a former pupil

Drugs nd gangs have already infiltrated the hallowed halls of Waterloo Road – now it’s 70 per cent proof illegal vodka that has flooded the classrooms.
Kyle and Tariq have persuaded naive Harley to flog the booze to the students, most of whom are very happy to neck it, even though it tastes like paint stripper. However, none is as eager as Shelby, daughter of the local director of education who coincidentally is in school reading the riot act to head teacher Michael Byrne.
Also, a desperate Janeece nicks food from the canteen, Jez goes off the rails again, and Maggie puts a spring in Grantley’s step.
