New head Vaughan Fitzgerald arrives with his partner Allie and her two children. When his two teenage sons from a previous marriage arrive unexpectedly to live with them, it all gets very complicated.
Justin Fitzgerald has certainly turned over a new leaf since he got together with his stepmother’s daughter Tiffany Westbrook. After he sees a lad from Havelock High shoplifting food and then rifling through the bins for out-of-date sandwiches, he suddenly turns into a sort of Mother Teresa figure, organising a food bank for the poorer members of the community and wangling a place at Waterloo Road for the disruptive boy. Surely this virtuous behaviour can’t last.
Two people who are causing trouble are Leo Fitzgerald and sports teacher Hector. Leo gets carried away doing some computer hacking, while Hector simply won’t take “no” for an answer.
