Summary

Robb Stark's chain of victories against the Lannisters enrages Joffrey, who punishes Sansa for her brother's successes. Tyrion struggles to find a way to curb his nephew's cruel excesses and enlists Cersei's lover Lancel as an informant. Catelyn urges the Baratheon brothers to forgo their ambitions and unite against a common enemy, while across the Narrow Sea, Daenerys and her exhausted retinue arrive at the walled city of Qarth

Review

Following Robb’s victories, Joffrey takes his frustrations out on Sansa, while Tyrion moves quickly to protect her. Meanwhile, Catelyn urges Stannis and Renly to put aside their differences and unite against the Lannisters. Arya and Gendry find themselves at the mercy of Ser Gregor Clegane, the fearsome “Mountain That Rides”. And Daenerys and her people finally emerge out of the Red Waste at the walls of a great city – but will its people prove friends or foes?
