We’re getting close to episode nine – the traditional moment when Thrones delivers a shocker. But before that happens, there’s enough to get your teeth into in this seventh instalment of series five, as Jon Snow prepares to do battle and the glacial Sansa tries to reacquaint herself with Theon. But her former childhood friend has become Reek, Ramsay’s mute husk of a dogsbody, so she has a job on her hands.
Elsewhere, the doggedly loyal Brienne is still waiting to fulfil her destiny while Jaime tries to get in touch with his family. Those lovely, huggy, touchy-feely Lannisters. Remember them?
