Episode 4: The Last of the Starks

Summary

After the Battle of Winterfell, the Great War to gain control over the mythical land of Westeros continues as Jon and Daenerys look to the south. Meanwhile, Jon shares a secret with his siblings. Starring Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington and Peter Dinklage

Review

After starting its final series off with two dialogue-heavy episodes, Game of Thrones kicked things into high gear with last week’s truly epic battle episode, a feature-length clash between the living and the dead that is officially one of (if not the) longest battles ever put to screen.

And after a conflict that big, you have to expect similarly huge repercussions, which is what this episode is all about. Which of your favourite characters will have survived? What new (and old) enemies face them over the coming episodes?

And, perhaps most crucially of all, will somebody please turn on the lights so we can see what’s going on in half the scenes? When we were promised the darkest series to date this year, we weren’t expecting it literally…
