Sex Education

Time waits for no young man when the comedy-of-age comedy drama created by Laurie Nunn bids farewell to the familiar corridors of Moordale Secondary for the new term. Otis Milburn (Asa Butterfield) and best friend Eric (Ncuti Gatwa) join other Moordale students at Cavendish Sixth Form College where they experience a huge culture shock. The college promotes a non-competitive approach to success and students are encouraged to expand their bodies and minds in daily yoga sessions in a communal garden. While a lovesick Otis openly pines for Maeve (Emma Mackey), who is studying in America at Wallace University under venerated author Thomas Molloy (Dan Levy), former head boy Jackson (Kedar Williams-Stirling) is still crushed about losing Cal Bowman (Dua Saleh). Adam (Connor Swindells) struggles to acclimatise to mainstream education and back at home, Otis and his sex therapist mother Jean (Gillian Anderson) learn that three can be a crowd.
