This Thailand fan at the Olympic weightlifting deserves a gold medal of his own
Stop whatever you’re doing, this is more important

The best thing about this video of a man supporting Thailand at the Rio 2016 Olympic weightlifting is his face. Not his hypnotically rhythmic arm dance, nor his carefully held flag. His face. It’s all about the face.
Why isn’t he smiling?
He looks very forlorn.
Also, despite his fist appearing to be inches from a woman’s face, she barely flinches... because he is that good.
Thai weightlifter Sopita Tanasan, just 5 ft 1 in, went on to win gold ahead of Indonesia and Japan runners up.
But we all know she’s not the only one who deserves a medal.
