Ireland are reeling after the 19-12 defeat to Rugby World Cup hosts Japan over the weekend and must hit back strongly against Russia on Thursday.

The Irish were left stunned by Japan's attacking nous in Shizuoka, which came after their own 27-3 rout over Scotland.

Ireland could not wish for better opponents than Russia to bounce back from the shock loss, however.
