Gudmundur Benediktsson may very well have a sore throat this morning
In the interest of looking on the bright side, there was one good thing about England's defeat to Iceland during last night's Euro 2016 match and that's Icelandic commentator Gudmundur Benediktsson.
Fresh from entertaining fans with his excitable commentary after Arnor Traustason’s late goal against Austria last Wednesday, Benediktsson returned to oversee Iceland's latest victory.
And boy did he enjoy it. From the first goal, to the second, to the final victory, Benediktsson was euphoric. He's no doubt suffering a sore throat today, but it's safe to say he won't care.
