Milk Cup turns sour in Mexico v Northern Ireland mass brawl
Youth football match ends in disgrace as four players are sent off in pitch battle
The Milk Cup Elite is meant to be a friendly tournament, a chance for youth stars to show their skills and build their international reputations. But there was nothing friendly about this game.
The u-19 international match between Mexico and Northern Ireland ended in farce after a mass brawl broke out between the two sides, with players punching, kicking and throwing each other to the ground.
One of the Mexican players aimed a kick at the head of a Northern Irish player lying on the ground. In total four players were sent off in Northern Ireland's 2-1 victory, three Mexicans and one player from Northern Ireland.
