Neighbours cast: Who is joining, leaving and returning to the soap?
Your guide to the comings and goings in Erinsborough.

2021 is well underway now, and while it might be an odd time for most of us, the cast changes for Neighbours are continuing on just like every other year.
The soap celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2020, which included plenty of deaths, returning characters and newcomers.
This year has already seen the return of some old favourites, and we now know that one of them will return again full-time - and a couple of other faces from the past are also making a welcome return.
Read on for your essential guide to the Neighbours cast, to see who is on the way out, who is arriving, and who is returning to the Channel 5 soap.
LEAVING
Bonnie Anderson (Bea Nilsson)

Bea will be departing the show later this year, but actress Bonnie Anderson only has great things to say about her time on Ramsay Street. “I was like a pig in mud at that place,” she told the Sunday Herald Sun of her time on the show . “Neighbours really changed my life for the better in so, so many ways. I was 23 when I joined the show and it has really shaped me into the person that I am today.”
She added: “I have overcome a lot, I have grown and I am proud of the way I live my life. It was really good to have that structure and now after three and a half years on that show I have decided it is time for me to continue challenging myself and create space to focus on my music, songwriting and more acting.”
RETURNING
Jacinta Stapleton (Amy Greenwood)

She may have only left UK screens a few weeks ago but Amy Greenwood will be making her way back to Erinsborough soon and in even better news, this time she is back for good!
Set to be back on our screens later in the Spring, Amy will find a new job opportunity is what brings her back to town - and she may ruffle more feathers in the process. When Amy was last around she was involved with Shane Rebecchi but now he has left, hopefully, we will see her interact with more in the cast; in typical Amy fashion of course.
Dony Hany (Pierce Greyson)

Pierce left Neighbours late last year with a fresh face after the role was recast and Don Hany took over from Tim Robards who decided to stay in Sydney with his then-pregnant wife while COVID restrictions were still in place.
When Pierce returns, it will once again be Don playing the role for the guest stint and expect fireworks when he does make a comeback. Given that Chloe is now with his enemy Nicolette, we can't imagine that a happy reunion is on the cards when he does make his comeback.
Tim Kano (Leo Tanaka)

Another face making a welcome return is Leo Tanaka who was last seen early last year when he made a brief return to visit David (Takaya Honda) who was seriously ill in hospital at the time.
What brings Leo back this time remains to be seen but recent photos from the set leaked his return and it has been confirmed since that Leo will be back for a guest stint.
