Show regulars such as Debbie Dingle, Ross Barton and Aaron Livesy appear to be enjoying fairground fun, but why are they dressed for a funeral? And what's with the big 'exit' sign hanging over their heads in the closing seconds?

With the tagline 'who will meet their summer fate?', it seems that not all the characters will be making it through to the autumn.

So who will be meeting their maker? Will the upcoming wedding between Debbie and Pete end in death?

Cast member Liam Fox - who plays Dan Spencer - this week promised that viewers will be gobsmacked by what they witness:

"The audience are going to be stunned by what they see. The work's been put in by everybody - the cast, the crew, the writers, the producers. It's phenomenal," he said.

Watch the promo below. And beneath that, there's a 60-second rundown of all next week's drama.
