Get a sneak peek of the episode set to air this Wednesday as Cain makes contact with a penniless Joanie
Denise Black will return to Emmerdale this week, but it’s a sorry state of affairs for her character Joanie Wright and adoptive grandson Kyle.
In scenes to be shown on Wednesday, Cain will be seen heading off to scruffy-looking house where he meets with a penniless Joanie and gives her some money for a deposit.
But despite Kyle being his biological son, Cain is insistent that he doesn’t want to see or hear from either of them again.
But when she's later mugged and robbed of Cain's handout, a desperate Joanie ends up back in the village seeking help from the Dingles.
As Joanie frets that Kyle could be taken away from her if she doesn't provide him with a roof over his head, will the family take pity on her despite Cain's objections to having his boy back in his life?
