Seth and Summer (The OC)

Never mind Ryan and Marissa, the real romance in Orange County was blossoming between Seth Cohen (Adam Brody) and Summer Roberts (Rachel Bilson). Their will-they-won't-they romance erupted when she least expected it, making all of his dreams come true.

The pair split for quite a bit, but ultimately managed to find their way back to each other just in time for a flash forward series finale wedding. Even Seth's beloved toy horse Captain Oates couldn't say neigh.

Castle and Beckett (Castle)

It's hard NOT to love Nathan Fillion so it's no surprise that his on-screen crime-writing alter-ego Castle had quite a lot of chemistry with the crime-fighting Beckett (Stana Katic).

Of course she was having none of it at first, but the magnetic pull of Firefly's Mal proved rather hard to resist. Don't tell us you weren't delighted when the pair finally kissed.

Joey and Pacey (Dawson's Creek)

She may have spent many a summer's night climbing into Dawson Leary's (James Van Der Beek) window but when Joey Potter hooked up with Pacey Witter (Joshua Jackson) a love triangle to rival all love triangles took shape.

Who could forget sitting on the edge of their seats during the series finale, waiting to find out who won Joey's heart? Team Pacey fans knew it would be him, right from the very start.
