London landmarks pay tribute to the late David Bowie
Music venues, cinemas and even the BT Tower pay their respects to David Bowie, honouring the iconic pop star with moving messages written across their entrances

The entertainment world went into mourning yesterday when it was announced that iconic singer-songwriter and performer David Bowie had passed away.
Fans, friends and fellow musicians were quick to share their sadness on social media, posting images, gifs, videos and quotes from across the 69-year-old's impressive career.
But it wasn't long before tributes moved away from Twitter and Facebook, with fans gathering in Brixton, where Bowie lived as a boy.

Flowers and hand-written notes were left at a mural near Brixton tube station.

While images of the star were projected onto Brixton library...

And the Brixton Ritzy cinema honoured the music legend in letters above its entrance.
