10 reasons to be thankful Doc Martin isn’t actually your Doctor
Because "the Doctor will see you now" shouldn't sound like a threat...

He has a phobia of blood.

He is very easily irritated.

He’s patronising and yells at you when you’re sick.

He constantly looks angry.

He's got no problem hanging up on you.

He’ll see you when he damn well feels like it.

He jokes about amputating legs to terrified children.

He has perfected the disdainful sneer.

… and the you're-wasting-my-time one eyebrow raise.

He won’t help you if you catch him outside of the surgery, but happily gives medical advice at inappropriate times. Like a funeral.
