Sherlock drama Houdini & Doyle cancelled after one series
The drama, which aired on ITV Encore in the UK, won't be back for another run

Houdini & Doyle are calling time on their investigating escapades. The supernatural detective series, starring Stephen Mangan and Michael Weston, has been cancelled after just one series.
The drama, which aired on ITV Encore in the UK, is not being renewed by US network Fox after the run pulled in disappointing ratings, reports Deadline.
The ten-part drama, starring Michael Weston as the great illusionist and Stephen Mangan as the creator of Sherlock Holmes, followed the pair's real-life friendship and saw them join forces with New Scotland Yard to investigate unsolved and unexplainable crimes.
