Nashville stars start filming series two, y'all
Connie Britton, Hayden Panettiere and co are getting back to work to bring us a second series of the hit country music drama
The cast of hit More4 series Nashville have started knuckling down today to bring us series two of the country music drama.
Cast member Judith Hoag, who plays Tandy Wyatt in the drama, has taken to Twitter to share an image of the cast hard at work at a read-through for the new series:
The show's stars Hayden Panettiere, Clare Bowen, Jonathan Jackson and Sam Palladio can be seen grinning at the camera. And if you look closely you'll see that both Connie Britton (we think she's the one wearing the glasses!) and Charles Esten are in attendance too.
Baring in mind their characters Rayna and Deacon were in a potentially fatal car crash in the series one finale, can we take this to mean that they are both going to pull through? Fingers crossed!
In other Nashville news, adorable singing sisters Lennon and Maisy Stella as well as The O.C.'s Chris Carmack have been promoted to series regulars. Yee-ha!
The second series of Nashville is set to premiere on 25 September on American network ABC. Hopefully that means it shouldn't be too long before the series starts showing over here on More4.
