Mad Men's Elisabeth Moss confirms Top of the Lake series 2 will film in Spring
Jane Campion's New Zealand-set thriller is returning after three years
It's been three years since Jane Campion’s first TV drama Top of the Lake was broadcast — and now it's been confirmed that there's a series two in the pipeline.
Elisabeth Moss, who played detective Robin Griffin in the 2013 thriller, told Deadline: “I’ve read three scripts so far and I’m incredibly excited where Jane is taking the story and the character.”
The first series, set in a New Zealand town in which a pregnant 12-year-old girl has gone missing, reunited Campion with Holly Hunter, the star of her career-changing film The Piano.
