Next week's episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine will feature New Girl's Jess (played by Zooey Deschanel), before New Girl features the Nine-Nine in a special two-episode crossover.

The plotline revolves around Jess's trip to New York, where she finds herself helping Jake (Andy Samberg) track down a suspect after he commandeers her car. She then winds up in the Nine-Nine, where she runs into Gina (Chelsea Peretti) and Holt (Andre Braugher).
