Ian McKellen and Derek Jacobi comedy Vicious to start shooting series two in January
ITV confirms a filming date for its sitcom about a gay couple in a flatshare
Many moons ago ITV announced that it was bringing back the love-it-or-hate-it sitcom Vicious in which Sir Ian McKellen and Derek Jacobi play warring gay couple Freddie and Stuart with Frances de la Tour co-starring as their flighty neighbour Violet.
Some telly folk warned that it wasn’t very good, despite guest appearances from stars such as Judi Dench, with others doubting whether the network would be able to get this stellar cast back together.
But now RadioTimes.com reveal that it is definitely happening. Filming of a new series will begin in January. Which is good news. For some.
