Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will cover all nine movies in the Skywalker saga, so no Rogue One or Solo here, and all of them will be reimagined for this new game with many features and additions added, which makes this far more than just a simple remake.

The only issue we have is when we will be able to play it, as the game has had two major delays which have seen its release window pushed further and further back. But for all that we do know about the game, and when we expect to see it, read on!

When is Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga released?

Bad news - Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was originally scheduled for release on 20th October 2020, but it was announced at Gamescom that the game has been delayed to Spring 2021. Then we got to Spring and the game was delayed once again with no new release date locked in at the time of writing.

We do still expect it to be out in 2021 but at this point, we cannot imagine it coming any sooner than the latter part of the year - most likely in the Autumn gaming season.

What is Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga?

The Lego games have been popular for some time now and this looks to be a release to remember. The game comprises nine different episodes, one from each of the Skywalker movies that have been released. And if you, for example, do not fancy playing through a reminder of Attack of the Clones, then the good news is that you can play them in any order that you like - a change from previous Lego games and a very welcome one.

What is the Deluxe Edition of Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga?

The Deluxe Edition includes a copy of the game, as well as the following goodies:

Box art featuring an unmasked Darth Vader beneath the slipcase
Exclusive Luke Skywalker with Blue Milk Minifigure
Character Collection Bundle

The Character Collection Bundle includes six character packs, which adds characters from other areas of the Star Wars franchise such as Rogue One, Solo, The Mandalorian, and the upcoming The Bad Batch.
