He may have been sent down for Tina McIntyre's murder but, like many Corrie jailbirds before him, Marc Baylis' Rob Donovan is returning to the cobbles.

When last we saw him he was heading inside after ditching Tracey on their wedding day and finally being dobbed in for the crime Peter Barlow initially served time for.

Rob will return to our TV screens later this year and is set to cause trouble for Tracy as he starts calling the shots from his prison cell.

He'll be sending out a number of visiting orders and it won't be long before we realise he holds the key to a pretty important Connor family secret. And it's definitely one he could use to his advantage if need be.

"I can’t wait to play Rob again and see what he has up his sleeve" Baylis said. "One thing is certain - prison won’t stop Rob from affecting lives on the street."
