Men’s 100m Final 9.45pm, BBC1

"This one is simply unmissable. Usain Bolt running his final 100m race back at the stadium where he won three golds in 2012.

Over the past decade, since winning the first major medal of his career in 2007, Bolt’s achievements have catapulted him into sporting immortality. So for him to bow out without claiming yet another gold is almost unthinkable. But fellow Jamaican Yohan Blake has returned to incredible form, while American Justin Gatlin looks stronger than ever. Bolt’s talent and mental strength are second to none, but this will be his toughest-ever test at this event. There’ll be no smiling for the cameras, no easing off with 10m to go, because Bolt will have to be at his imperious best to win. Expect an absolute thriller."
