The pint-sized duo grill BoJo on his hair, his clothes – and his London slang - on the popular segment in Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.

Ahead of the opening of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park next month Little Dec asks the Mayor whether he gets “told off for never brushing your hair?” with Johnson admitting: “Yes very frequently. I do it’s a failing of mine.”

After Little Dec presents the Mayor with a comb, he leaves the duo bemused when he admits he will be using the gift for something else: “Thank you very much I will keep that it’s a handy looking object, I can use it to scratch my back.”

After asking him why he does not possess a Mayoral hat and chain Little Dec then asks: “My daddy said there is a lot of posh totty in London what does he mean?”

Mayor Boris Johnson replies: “I don’t know what your father means by that but I’m sure he’s right.”

The pair then teach Johnson some Geordie phrases and test his London slang.

Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway airs on Saturday at 7pm on ITV
