After months of “will she, won’t she” speculation, Jessie J has revealed that she has, in fact, signed up to be a coach on the second series of The Voice UK.

The 24-year-old pop star took to Twitter last night to announce the news of her return to the BBC talent show, writing: “I WILL be a coach on the 2nd series of The Voice UK! I'm B B B BACK!”

It was widely reported last month that Jessie wouldn’t be a part of The Voice when it returns to TV next year, owing to her tour commitments, but the Price Tag singer poured scorn on all the gossipy speculation about her relationship with the show.

She tweeted: “As I have always said. Unless you hear it from me- Don't always believe what you read! Can't wait! #thevoiceuk #weback *fist to the sky* ;)”

It’s likely that Jessie will be joined by fellow first series coach Sir Tom Jones next year too, as the veteran crooner recently hinted “I think I’m going to do [The Voice series two]”
