Bryan Cranston stars in the hit US drama series that got millions of Brits hooked…
What is it? The US drama phenomenon which follows the financial rise and moral fall of Walter White: a mild-mannered chemistry teacher who turns his expertise to producing crystal meth after a cancer diagnosis leaves him fearing for the financial future of his family.
Who's in it? Bryan Cranston gives a career-best performance as Walter White, while co-star Aaron Paul has become renowned for his profane portrayal of drug dealer Jesse Pinkman. Supporting is Anna Gunn as Walt's wife Skyler White, Dean Norris as brother-in-law DEA agent Hank Schrader, and Bob Odenkirk as criminal lawyer Saul Goodman.
Where can I watch it? Breaking Bad has had turbulent history when it comes to being broadcast in the UK - with it being dropped from both cable channel FX and Channel 5. The best way to watch it now, however, is through online streaming service Netflix - which has all five seasons - or to buy the box set.
Highlight? Its actual highlight would be a cruel, cruel spoiler, so we'll just settle for the scene in which Walter White completes his transformation into villanous alter-ego Heisenberg by telling his wife, "I am not the one in danger, Skyler. I AM the danger!"
