Godzilla remake to be filmed in Hawaii
The new monster flick starring Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston and Nowhere Boy actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson, will be set on the US’s tropical surfing island
Filming for the new Warner Bros picture Godzilla will begin in Hawaii this July.
The feature film is set to include Nowhere Boy actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston and Inception’s Ken Watanabe. Juliette Binoche (Chocolat), David Strathairn (The Bourne Legacy) and actress Elizabeth Olsen (Silent House) will also feature in the film.
Reports from the island’s local press Honolulu Star-Advertiser claim that filming will take place in many locations around Oahu.
Some scenes from the Gareth Edwards directed picture have already been shot in Vancouver, last March.
Godzilla directed by Gareth Edwards is due for release in May 2014.
