From the Renaissance to reunification and beyond, this exhibition uses extraordinary objects to explore 600 years of German history, filled with both triumphs and terrible tragedies.
- Navigate through Germany’s many political changes – from the Holy Roman Empire through to today’s economic powerhouse.
- Explore art by Albrecht Dürer, Hans Holbein, Caspar David Friedrich and Gerhard Richter
- Marvel at technological achievements through the ages which gave the world Gutenberg’s printing press, outstanding Meissen porcelain and the Bauhaus movement
