Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) has been getting close to Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan) these past weeks but their flirting is about to be noticed by an eagle-eyed Liz McDonald (Beverley Callard).

In the coming weeks, viewers will see Peter’s son Simon refuse to go to school, only for Tina to agree to look after him. As Carla enthuses about how good Tina is with Simon, Sally reckons she should be jealous.

Meanwhile, over at the Rovers, Peter – no stranger to a love triangle, it has to be said – is spending his time laughing away with barmaid Tina. But their body language has not gone unnoticed…
