She has, as always, keep her head screwed firmly on though, often proving more sensible than mum and dad, Sally and Kevin.

Is it any wonder, then, that she cops that something isn't right with her mother next week? We know Sally's due to lock lips with ex hubby Kevin after Carla fires her from her job at the factory, while husband to be Tim is on his way to visit his dad in Wales.

Sophie decides to take her mum to the Rovers for a drink to try and figure out what's going on, but her mum brushes her off with excuses about wedding related stress.

It's not long before Mary butts in with some ideas for Sally's Hen, but when the bride-to-be shrilly brushes her off Sophie knows something's up and continues to probe her.

Will Sally's secret be revealed?

Michael Le Vell says the truth will eventually out, but will it be Sophie who solves the mystery?

You can watch a 60-second rundown of next week's episodes of Coronation Street below.
