Keira Knightley shows off her American accent in the trailer for new film Laggies
The dark indie comedy sees Knightley as a stuck-in-a-rut twentysomething who begins an unlikely friendship with a high-school student
The first trailer for Keira Knightley’s new film Laggies gives us our first peek at the dark comedy which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year.
Directed by Lynn Shelton (Your Sister’s Sister), Laggies charts the story of Megan (Knightley), who scarpers on a fake career break when her boyfriend proposes. She lands on the doorstep of high-school student Annika (Chloe Grace Moretz) and an unlikely friendship blossoms.
We also hear Knightley’s American accent, which isn’t half bad.
