Despicable Me – 2.15pm, ITV2
This hugely popular animated tale tells the story of ruthless baddie Gru whose position as the world’s greatest villain is under threat thanks to new kid on the block Vector. Steve Carell and Jason Segel voice.
Hop – 6:10pm, Channel 4
One for all the family, Hop follows the tale of a rabbit on Easter Island who is about to succeed his father in the role of the Easter Bunny. He shuns the role and tries to find fame as a drummer in Hollywood. Hugh Laurie and Russell Brand lend their voices to the characters.
Toy Story 3 – 8:00pm, BBC3
Andy is off to college and after leaving his toys behind, Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen), Woody (Tom Hanks) and co find themselves caught in a battle to escape a day care centre. Head bear Lotso bullies the toys and while Barbie finally meets her Ken, all isn’t as it seems. But fear not, there is a happy ending.
The Graduate – 10:00pm, ITV3
Dustin Hoffman is sensational as the innocent graduate seduced by older married woman Anne Bancroft, before falling for her daughter Katharine Ross. A classic.
Heat – 10:30pm, Channel 4
Crime saga starring Al Pacino and Robert De Niro, which features one of the best battles in downtown LA to make it to the big screen. It’s cops and robbers at its heart, but with big bursts of action and is epic in scale and length.
