1. Everest

Jake Gyllenhaal and Sam Worthington star as two of the several climbers on the ill-fated Everest expedition led by Rob Hall, played by Zero Dark Thirty actor Jason Clarke, in 1996. The movie will follow these brave explorers as they attempt one of the most dangerous climbs on earth and get caught in a severe blizzard. Sensibly, Icelandic director Baltasar Kormákur decided to film somewhere a lot more manageable – Italy’s ski resort of Val Senales.
