Romantic comedy starring Ben Stiller, Edward Norton and Jenna Elfman. Father Brian Finn and Rabbi Jacob Schram have been best friends since they were kids. But their relationship is put to the test when each falls for Anna Reilly, a childhood friend to both, who suddenly re-enters their lives.
This good-natured romantic comedy has appealing actors, a few good laughs and some unpretentious insights into religion. First-time director Edward Norton also stars as a priest, while Ben Stiller plays his best friend, a rabbi. Their friendship is tested when they both fall in love with childhood friend Jenna Elfman. Norton's movie successfully blends romance, comedy and faith into a thoughtful and entertaining mix that benefits from wonderful chemistry between the leads and a strong supporting cast that includes Anne Bancroft as Stiller's mother.
