It may be spooky season, but Netflix has films of all genres and tastes available, whether you’re after some seasonal scares or not.

New Netflix original The Guilty delivers on the thriller front, following Jake Gyllenhaal’s Joe Baylor during a particularly pulse-pounding day as he attemps to save a kidnap victim from his work desk.

For those after something a bit more spooky, The Lighthouse is pleasingly disturbing without any jumpscares or masked killers, while recent horror hit Midsommar can be enjoyed at any time of year.

For something a bit more light-hearted, there are plenty of child-friendly superhero picks on Netflix, from the fun-filled DC film Shazam! to the first Spider-Man starring Tobey Maguire who may also be popping up in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

As The Matrix Resurrections inches ever closer, it’s a good time to rewatch the original 1999 classic too.

Netflix, of course, has long had a mix of exciting original films as well as older classics, so RadioTimes.com is here save you from scrolling with recommendations to suit all.
